The son of Bruce Kurszewski (D.C. Everest class of 1980) and Julie (Miller) Kaufmann (D.C. Everest class of 1980), Wesley (Wes) Kurszewski graduated from D.C. Everest in 1998. During his time at D.C. Everest, he was involved in the creation and promotion of the Back Yard Football League.
He began his collegiate academics at the University of Wisconsin – Marathon County, attending from 1998-2000. He finished his undergraduate education at University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire, graduating in 2002 with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Kinesiology. Next, Wes began Graduate School at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities in the summer of 2002. He completed his education in 2005, earning a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.He now resides in Wisconsin Rapids with his wife, Jill and son, Maksym. He is a licensed Physical Therapist for Marshfield Clinic – Wisconsin Rapids Center. He is an active member of his professional organization and frequently attends continuing education courses to better his practice. Rob Goetsch grew up in Weston and graduated from D.C. Everest Senior High School in 1999. As a sophomore, Rob was a founding member of the Back Yard Football League. Following high school, Rob spent one year at the University of Wisconsin Marathon County and then transferred to the University of Wisconsin Madison where he graduated with a BBA in December, 2003. Most recently, Rob received his MBA from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Rob currently lives in Milwaukee with his wife Michelle. They enjoy traveling and have been to Europe and Asia several times since their marriage in 2006. The son of David and Dawn (Prast) Kluever, and sibling of Michelle (Denfeld) Kluever, and Dan Kluever, Brad Kluever grew up in Schofield, WI and graduated from D.C. Everest Senior High School in 1998. As a junior, Brad was a founding member of the Back Yard Football League.
After High School, Brad first attended University of Wisconsin Marathon County for two years, went to University of Wisconsin Eau Claire for two more years, and then finished his undergraduate degree at University of Wisconsin Stevens Point in December of 2003 with a BS in Health Promotion and Wellness. Through his twelve years with the BYFL organization he has always been around the Everest community to keep the BYFL presence current. Brad currently resides in Kronenwetter, WI with his wife, Becky, and new daughter, Abigail. Brad is currently employed at Rasmussen College, where he works as a program manager helping individuals enroll into school. He enjoys spending time with his friends and family, while maintaining his BYFL ties in many sports communities throughout the year. Neal Heckendorf grew up in Schofield, WI and graduated from D.C. Everest in 1998. During his time at D.C. Everest, he helped establish BYFL. He attended college at the University of Wisconsin – Platteville and achieved a Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering. He now works at Control Assemblies company designing control systems. Neal and his wife Kelly (also a D.C. Everest graduate) currently live in Burnsville, MN. BYFL football, softball, bowling, and horse shoes remain an enjoyable part of his life.
